Val's Party Cheese Ball 

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

1 can (8.5 oz) sweetened crushed pineapple (drained)

1/4 cup green pepper (chopped)

2 Tbs chopped onion

3 tsp seasoning salt

1 cup finely chopped pecans (divided)

In a bowl combine cream cheese, green peppers, onions, drained pineapple, seasoning salt and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.

Chill until somewhat firm.  Roll into a ball.  Roll ball in remaining pecans or sprinkle pecans on top and press slightly.

Put in dish and cover with plastic cling wrap until serving time.  Serve with assorted crackers.

Note:  This tastes better when made the day before.
